Chelsea 2-1 Wolfsburg: Samantha Kerr and Pernille Harder prove to be the difference as Emma Hayes' side emerge victorious in the first-leg of their Champions League quarter-final


 Chelsea emerged victorious in the first-leg of their Champions League quarter-final against Wolfsburg. 


Emma Hayes' side beat Wolfsburg 2-1 after Samantha Kerr opened the scoring n the 55th minute of the game. Kerr's contribution marked her 17th goal of the campaign.


Pernille Harder added to the tally in the 66th minute of the game by sliding the ball into the corner of the net after Kirby intercepted Kiedrzynek’s short goal-kick.

Wolfsburg did, however, manage to pull one back with a penalty from Dominique Janssen.
